The Animation Transcripts Community is a free non-profit educational website aiming at making great animation material more accessible.
How the project came about:
1. There are some fantastic animation podcasts out there, sharing a wealth of information but if you only got into animation recently, there is no way you will be able to go through all that audio material unless you work in London or LA and commute or get stuck in traffic for hours.

1. There are some fantastic animation podcasts out there, sharing a wealth of information but if you only got into animation recently, there is no way you will be able to go through all that audio material unless you work in London or LA and commute or get stuck in traffic for hours.
2. If English is not your first language, it will be really hard for you to access that information
3. Podcasts are fairly easy to produce but they are impossible to search so it is very difficult to share or discuss specific sections of a podcast.

Transcripts are therefore, a perfect addition to podcasts since they solve all the issues mentioned above.
